At ARA Dessert Restaurant, we work to ensure your chocolates arrive fresh and high-quality. Because chocolate is a food product sensitive to temperature variations and handling during transport, our policy follows specific criteria described below.
Because we work with a handcrafted product that is sensitive to temperature, we have created a transparent policy so that you can buy with confidence and peace of mind.
💛 Right of Withdrawal (7 days)
According to the Consumer Protection Code, you can request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving the product .
In order for us to accept the return, the product must:
To be sealed and show no signs of use.
To be in perfect storage conditions.
To be returned in the original packaging.
Once the product is returned and inspected, we will process the refund according to the original payment method.
☀️ About melted or broken chocolate
Chocolate is a delicate food and can react to temperature variations and handling during transport.
We use appropriate packaging to protect your order as much as possible. However, external factors such as:
High temperatures
Shipping time
Handling by the carrier
They can cause melting or minor breaks , situations that are unfortunately beyond our control.
Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for physical alterations caused by transportation.

Important: Even if the chocolate arrives slightly melted or with small cracks, it is still safe to eat, preserving its flavor and quality.
📦 Product different from what was ordered
If we send you something different from what you ordered, don't worry — we'll take care of it!
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item by sending:

Photos of the product received
We will either resend the correct item or provide a full refund.

If you identify any alteration that compromises the quality of the product (such as an incorrect expiration date or a characteristic outside the standard), please contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number.

The refund is processed according to the original payment method:
Credit card: refund on your statement (processing time determined by the card issuer)
PIX or Boleto: deposit within 10 business days.
Other means: as per the operator.
🚚 About return shipping
If the error is ours or there is a proven defect: we will cover the shipping costs.
In case of buyer's remorse: the return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
